After years of trying unsuccessfully to steer the process for developing a new company logo, I gave up and handed the reins to our Sales and Marketing Manager, Jenifer. She took a simple idea to Brandon Kight, and he turned it into a beautiful logo that masterfully combines the raw, power-oriented machismo of diesel with a very clever and graceful feminine insignia full of color and vibrant movement. I feel like we finally have a logo that speaks to our market.

By request from Dora Briley, I’m pleased to have the opportunity to share the following information about my business and my family’s affiliation with the Early Iron of Ukiah Car Club for the January newsletter. 
As the New Year begins, I’m celebrating the completion of my first year in business as Brandon Kight Visual Creations (BKVC).  With five years experience in graphic design, I began my business from a small office in my home.  Six months after start up, I hung my sign at my office currently located at 525 South Main Street, Ukiah.  The past twelve months have exceeded my expectations.I’m especially thankful for the great businesses and organizations, which includes the Early Iron of Ukiah Car Club, that put their trust in my graphic design expertise to strengthen their brand and market their products, services and events. 
Whether it’s creating an identity from scratch or evolving an existing design, I provide graphic design services and printing solutions for a multitude of uses such as; logo design, CD covers, wine labels, posters, banners, signs, newsletters, brochures, t-shirts, advertisements, vehicle wraps and billboards.  I also provide website development, design and servicing.  I appreciate the opportunity to provide many of these services for the club. 
Unlike your average graphic design business, I understand the importance of supporting local non-profit events and organizations and getting involved for the betterment of the community.  As I’m able, I volunteer my time and talent in addition to monetary contributions.  I’m currently involved on the North Coast Opportunities Human Race Steering Committee and proudly sponsored the Fabulous Flashback Car Show last year.  BKVC was also a sponsor for the Ukiah Country Pumpkinfest and Scarecrow City, the Ukiah Skate Park, Living Waters Sober Living Home, St. Mary’s Mardi Gras, and Ukiah High School Cheerleaders.
As a kid, I attended many car shows and Early Iron events with my parents, Richard and Katie Kight and brother, Chris.  They’ve been club members for several years as have my grandparents, Betty and Allyn Thompson.  Although I currently don’t own a classic vehicle, my first car was a Competition Orange 1965 Mustang.  At the age of 15, I built the car with the help of my Dad and Grandfather.  After a couple years of driving it during my High School years, I sold the Mustang before going away to college in Arizona.  I still have a great appreciation for classic vehicles and hope to own another classic, possibly another Mustang, again one day.
